Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

This policy explains how the operator of this website handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we are

In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this website. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

Information we collect

  • Information you send us, such as your email address and the content of your message.
  • Technical information collected automatically when you visit: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the time of your visit and the links you select.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described in our cookie policy.

We do not ask for your name, address or payment details to use this site.

How we use it

  • to run the site, keep it secure and prevent misuse;
  • to understand which pages and listings are useful, through an internal analytics system that reports aggregated statistics;
  • to send selected partner links through a link-tracking service, so that platforms can recognise visits that came from us;
  • to detect and fix technical faults with an error-logging tool;
  • to answer your messages.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us host and run the site (hosting, analytics, link tracking and error logging), with partner platforms to the extent needed to credit a referral, and where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

Some providers may store information outside Australia, including in the European Union and the United States. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to make sure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Access and correction

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, email us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our answer within 30 days, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
